At night when the stars light up my room, I sit by myself, talking to the moon. Tonight is a very special night for me, and it's Kojagiri Pournima (Sharad Pournima as some might say). Ever since a child, year after year, we celebrate this day by sitting in the night flooded with the light of the full moon, drinking milk. Since moon is supposed to be closest to the earth on this day, the moon rays are said to have curative properties. The vessel containing the sweet is prepared and left in the moonlight to be consumed later. According to Ayurveda, the `pitta' or acidity aggravates at the end of the monsoon season. Corona aka Covid - 19 I think the title suggests exactly what I'm feeling right now. So, its my Day - 6 of self quarantine and I'm paranoid , but calm (for now). It's such a crucial time for the humanity and the world we live in. At first there was so much of a chaos and rumors floating around about this virus that people were scared, hell I was scared too, but only information from the trusted sources came to the rescue. WHO says: Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death.
