Chaand Chupa Badal Mein

At night when the stars light up my room, I sit by myself, talking to the moon.           Tonight is a very special night for me, and it's Kojagiri Pournima (Sharad Pournima as some might say). Ever since a child, year after year, we celebrate this day by sitting in the night flooded with the light of the full moon, drinking milk.  Since moon is supposed to be closest to the earth on this day, the moon rays are said to have curative properties. The vessel containing the sweet is prepared and left in the moonlight to be consumed later.           According to Ayurveda, the `pitta' or acidity aggravates at the end of the monsoon season. This is the reason why cooling foods are recommended to neutralise the pitta and balance it. The consumption of cold milk and rice flakes is supposed to be a good remedy for pitta.           Coming back , I remember my mother would make me sit by the window,...

Quarantine Qooking 🍰

I have ALWAYS loved baking as long as I can remember. Baking kind of soothes me, like reading books. When I initially started the process of baking (like about a year ago), man you wouldnt even guess what I was doing in the kitchen. All of my baking outcome was a ridiculous mess. I thought I  wasn't meant to bake AT ALL. But as and when I see the my refrigerator has all the ingredients needed for baking a cake, I just float towards it like a moth to a flame. I know I'm not a good baker, nor do I say I have all the qualities, but I can't unlove baking. I just can't.

There are many things in life which we cannot (yet) do, and that does not mean we should stop doing it. There are times where you suck terribly, but you still gotta appreciate that you made an effort for something that you love. Love is not what you make. Love is what you are. If you love cooking,or dancing,or whatever in the world, do it for the sake of love within you.

💓

I'm still in the initial state of baking, and I thoroughly enjoy every bit of it. My cakes come out of the oven cracked, and yet my heart is WHOLE

Ignore the mess, I'm not a professional 😅 My fav Chocolate Cake.

Tshirts and jeans pairings that'll save your day!

Hey guys! This is my first blog post so please bear with me ... and lets get started. As we all know that tshirts and jeans are an essential part of our wardrobe which we use daily or must certainly have as a part of our closet ..so why not style them differently and make your day by turning heads along the road ? For today I paired a stripped back t-shirt with a medium light blue denim jeans which is I guess essentially a part of regular wear ... I love Smokey eyes as this increases the oomph factor. The light pink lips also make the most of this outfit. We can also pair this outfit with white sneakers or the sandals that I have worn ... I love these sandals because they feel so wonderful ! For the second outfit: I have worn  a blue tshirt with a high waist Flare hem jeans with black heels and im in love with this oufit #ootd ...
