Chaand Chupa Badal Mein

At night when the stars light up my room, I sit by myself, talking to the moon.           Tonight is a very special night for me, and it's Kojagiri Pournima (Sharad Pournima as some might say). Ever since a child, year after year, we celebrate this day by sitting in the night flooded with the light of the full moon, drinking milk.  Since moon is supposed to be closest to the earth on this day, the moon rays are said to have curative properties. The vessel containing the sweet is prepared and left in the moonlight to be consumed later.           According to Ayurveda, the `pitta' or acidity aggravates at the end of the monsoon season. This is the reason why cooling foods are recommended to neutralise the pitta and balance it. The consumption of cold milk and rice flakes is supposed to be a good remedy for pitta.           Coming back , I remember my mother would make me sit by the window,...

Fabric + Print = Everything

I cannot emphasize the title more enough. Even if there's a gorgeous dress you dreamt about, but it does NOT feel good enough, its a shame.

Yesterday after a very long time I went out, because it was necessary, and it started raining. For the very first time in this year I was soaked from head to toe in water, other than anxiety. 😅

Ever since the monsoon has arrived, it's become necessary to wear comfortable clothes, which do not get wet that much. I personally love print but I areally like the fabric of my clothes to be more soft and silky.

The dress I have worn has a very silky touch to it. Its also very stretchy which makes it a perfect dress ro wear in this rainy season. This dress would look beautiful in a leggings as well. There's a gold touch to the dress which stands out the neck line of the dress. This is the reason I had gold and glittery eyes for the make up.

I got this dress way back so can't remeber the deets. 😅

I hope you all enjoy the rain without getting soaking wet. Have a wonderful day!
