Chaand Chupa Badal Mein

At night when the stars light up my room, I sit by myself, talking to the moon.           Tonight is a very special night for me, and it's Kojagiri Pournima (Sharad Pournima as some might say). Ever since a child, year after year, we celebrate this day by sitting in the night flooded with the light of the full moon, drinking milk.  Since moon is supposed to be closest to the earth on this day, the moon rays are said to have curative properties. The vessel containing the sweet is prepared and left in the moonlight to be consumed later.           According to Ayurveda, the `pitta' or acidity aggravates at the end of the monsoon season. This is the reason why cooling foods are recommended to neutralise the pitta and balance it. The consumption of cold milk and rice flakes is supposed to be a good remedy for pitta.           Coming back , I remember my mother would make me sit by the window,...

Jackets to the rescue (Part 2)

Hey guys! Let me just ask you, how are you doing ? Are you well ? I hope you are safe 😊.
So talking about the jackets, there are two staple jackets which instantly make a difference to your wadrobe.

The first one is a leather jacket. These jackets are out of vogue, said no one ever. But even so you'd like to see the shape and how the chains are placed and how the jacket fits perfectly. You can pair them with a jeans and a basic T-shirt, or leather on leather etc. Leather jackets give your outfits a bit of a rock inspired edge. For an effortlessly chic look, this jacket is a must.

The second one is a Denim jacket. I simply cannot explain how it feels to wear any denim jacket over a casual look. It's versatile and can be the finishing touch to almost any outfit. There are various ways to wear a denim jacket, like denim on denim, or you can wear this with layering, non-blue denim, denim jacket with a dress, skirts, athleisure etc.
I have worn denim in denim in the first photo. I have 2 denim jackets. 😎
Enjoy the photos !

Another one of my favourite denim jacket.

Tell me how would you style this look on Instagram

See you soon,
Anu

Tshirts and jeans pairings that'll save your day!

Hey guys! This is my first blog post so please bear with me ... and lets get started. As we all know that tshirts and jeans are an essential part of our wardrobe which we use daily or must certainly have as a part of our closet ..so why not style them differently and make your day by turning heads along the road ? For today I paired a stripped back t-shirt with a medium light blue denim jeans which is I guess essentially a part of regular wear ... I love Smokey eyes as this increases the oomph factor. The light pink lips also make the most of this outfit. We can also pair this outfit with white sneakers or the sandals that I have worn ... I love these sandals because they feel so wonderful ! For the second outfit: I have worn  a blue tshirt with a high waist Flare hem jeans with black heels and im in love with this oufit #ootd ...
